BSNL, the leading telecom operator in India has launched a new smartphone in its champion series. It is named - 'BSNL Champion DM6513', an Android 4.2.2 Jellybean OS running smartphone, with the most basic features in a mega-sized screen. 


The phone cum phablet has a 6.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display and the underlying processor is a Dual Core one (unspecified chipset). The Single-SIM card support in the phone lets you connect to 3G and WCDMA 2100. BSNL lets users experience regional language support and web browsing. Using the toggle keyboard, users can switch easily between English language and any other language of their choice with a single swipe.

In the imaging category, there is a 5MP rear camera along with a 2MP front facing shooter. Moreover, the device is powered by a massive 3500mAh battery which according to company offers a talk time up to 4 hours and standby time of 62 hours. The phablet is WiFi enabled and the memory is expandable up to 32GB.

The phone is available at a price of Rs. 6,999 on the official ChampionIndia website and at a discounted price of Rs. 5,990 on Flipkart. Earlier in January, BSNL had launched two other smartphones in its Champion series with My Phone SM3512 And SM3513 at a price of Rs. 3,225 and Rs. 4,499 respectively.
