Russian company Yota Devices is coming with a dual screen mobile device called YotaPhone. This will be the first ever dual screen mobile in the world. The company has said that it will launch the device before Christmas this december. Features are given with the gallery below.
This smartphone has front side 4.3-inch capcitive LCD screen and backside 4.3-inch electronic paper screen.
The electronic paper display in the backside is always on, but in a less disturbing and more user-friendly way. You can easily see notices, emails, tweets, and other information in real time without picking up or even activating your phone.
The electronic paper display does not have to go dark to save battery life. Even if the battery is empty, the most recent information on the EPD remains visible. You can use it to save important information. Save anything from a route on a map, to a boarding pass, to theatre tickets.
Electronic paper screen gives you a longer lasting, more comfortable reading experience even in bright sunshine. You get the perfect smartphone and e-reader in one device instead of two.
When you flip the phone, footnotes on the page you are reading will automatically appear on the LCD.
The electronic paper display on the YotaPhone shows all vital notifications of your choice on-screen for as long as you need them or until you are ready to respond to them.
