Indian Oil: Graduate Engineers Recruitment Through GATE 2014

Indian Oil has announced the Graduate Engineers Recruitment through GATE 2014.Candidates can apply for the post of Officers/ Engineers as well as Assistant Officers/ Assistant Engineers. Only GATE 2014 qualified candidates will be considered. Check the Recruitment Details below

For Assistant Officers/ Assistant Engineers

Selection process: on the basis of GATE 2014 score followed by Group discussion, Group Task and Personal Interview.

Eligibility:

• Candidates should have passed qualifying degree examinations and awarded bachelor’s degree in engineering/ technology in the above mentioned disciplines (full time regular courses only)
• Candidates, belonging to  General and OBC (non- creamy layer) categories, should have  secured minimum 65% marks in qualifying degree examinations. (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates)
• Integrated ME/ M.Tech candidates can apply provided they have already completed (or are completing) the BE/ B.Tech in one of the specified core disciplines and have completed (or are completing ME/ M.Tech by August, 2014). Such candidates must have both BE/B.Tech and ME/M.Tech degree at the time of Selection
• M.Tech candidates in any disciplines, other than mentioned above, must have completed their BE/ B.Tech in one of the above mentioned disciplines and should appear in GATE-2014 examination in the discipline of their BE/ B.Tech, to be eligible to apply

Age: not more than 26 years as on June 30, 2014 (relaxation as per rules).

Salary:
For Officers/ Engineers:

• Basic pay of Rs. 24,900/-per month   
• The Cost-to-Company (CTC), will be around Rs. 10.50 lakhs per annum inclusive of performance related pay (PRP).

For Assistant Officers/ Assistant Engineers:

• Basic pay of Rs. 20,600/-per month
• The Cost-to-Company (CTC), will be around Rs. 7.00 lakhs per annum inclusive of performance related pay (PRP).

Service Bond:

• For Officers/ Engineers: A service bond for Rs 3,00,000 (Rs 50,000 for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) will be executed to serve the corporation for a period of three years from the joining date
• For Assistant Officers/ Assistant Engineers: A service bond for Rs 2,00,000 (Rs 35,000 for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) will be executed to serve the corporation for a period of three years from the joining date

How to apply:

• On receipt of GATE 2014 Registration number, the candidates need to apply to Indian Oil on-line Available from December 18, 2013
• After submission of the IndianOil Online Application, a unique Application ID along with the completed Application Forms will be generated.
• Candidates have to take a printout, affix a recent photograph in the space provided and sign in the designated place.
• If selected for the interview, candidates are required to furnish copies of their GATE 2014 Application Form, GATE 2014 Admit Card and the printout of the IndianOil Online Application Form.
• The photographs in the IndianOil application must be identical to the one used in the GATE 2014 Application and GATE 2014 Admit Card

Important dates:

• Submission of online GATE 2012 application: September 2- October 1, 2013
• Start of online application module (Indian Oil) : December 18, 2013
• Last date for applying to Indian Oil: March 2, 2014
