After introducing the Lava 504Q with sensor based gesture controls, Lava’s two new Android smartphone models named Iris 505 and Iris 506Q have been spotted selling on an online portal for Rs 8,999 and Rs 11,700 respectively. First noticed by FoneArena, both the smartphones come with a 5-inch display, offer the Jelly Bean flavor of Android and have similar gesture controls as seen on the 504Q.
Going by the details mentioned online, the Iris 505 has a 5-inch WVGA display with 854×480 pixels resolution. The phone is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD. It comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and can shoot video at 720p using the rear camera. Connectivity-wise, it is a dual-SIM phone with 3G connectivity, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS.
The Iris 506Q is again a dual-SIM offering which comes with a slightly better display, a 5-inch qHD display with 960×540 pixels resolution. The phone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and as the ‘Q’ in the name suggests, is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. Rest of the features in the phone remains same as that on the Iris 503.
